90 Days to Integration in Your Community
Our free 90-day pilot helps you identify, equip, and support a trusted volunteer to lead your church's local outreach—without adding another staff position.
One Person Can Help Mobilize an Entire Congregation.
A Community Minister is a designated church leader who helps connect your congregation with opportunities to meet local needs, build community partnerships, and share Christ's love through service.
That leader doesn't have to be a paid staff member. A trusted, equipped volunteer can help your church take the next step.
We'll Help You Get Started At No Cost.
Identify a trusted volunteer who has a heart for serving your community. Through our 90-day pilot, the Community Minister Network will help them develop the skills, relationships, and confidence to begin leading local outreach.
Three Simple Steps to Get Started
1. Identify a Potential Leader
Think of someone in your church who loves people, has a heart for local outreach, and could give about five hours a week to the ministry.
2. Let Us Help Equip Them
We provide training, practical resources, and connections to experienced Community Ministers.
3. See What Happens in 90 Days
Your volunteer begins learning about community needs, building relationships, and mobilizing people to serve. After 90 days, you evaluate the experience together.
A conversation is the first step—not a commitment.
See whether your church is a good fit for the pilot.

Guided by Experienced Outreach Leaders.
What If The Church has spent years learning from church outreach leaders across America—studying what works, identifying common challenges, and connecting experienced Community Ministers with those just getting started.
Through the Community Minister Network, a program of What If the Church, first of it’s kind training and on going professional development has been established for local outreach champions in the church space throughout the United States.
One Church at a Time; One City at a Time

Churches working together. Community needs being addressed.

Our vision is a Community Minister in every church across America, and it can start with one person in your church.
